WITH ALL THE WILL IN THE WORLD

In 1988, the last shipyard in Sunderland closes, ending 600 years of tradition. Thirty years later, amid the biggest regeneration project in the city’s history, a £133 million bridge is built in its place. Has the city recovered, and is there a future on the River Wear? A reflection on history and hope as told by the shipbuilders themselves.
