Call for Entries for the International Short Film Competition

FSF21 DAY7 Awardceremony 8057

We’re now accepting submissions for the International Short Film Competition of the 41st FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH (November 13–19, 2022)!

Each year, we celebrate the creativity and skill of film school students from around the world as we welcome them to Munich and present their short films on the big screen. The 50 or so short films chosen by an independent selection committee are eligible for prizes having a total value of roughly 40,000 euros.

This year we’re placing particular emphasis on green film production. If one or more of your short films was produced in an environmentally friendly way, please note this in the submission. Our definition of green producing is inspired by the Green Unified Best Practices put forth by the Producers Guild of America and the Green Film Shooting project of the European Center for Sustainability in the Media World.

Requirements for submission:
a) Submission by the festival coordinator(s)
b) A maximum of 70 minutes per institution
c) Maximum duration of each film: 30 minutes
d) Films must have been completed in 2021 or 2022

All submissions must be made via the platform

The deadline for submissions to the International Short Film Competition is prolonged until July 18, 2022.
