FIFTY-TWO

A worker in an underground station grows tired of the isolation and the monotony of his single task: cleaning off the dust that builds up on a solar panel. Unaware of what the panel powers, he does his work without question in order to avoid punishment. A workplace accident, however, leads to freedom and the answers to all his questions.

Brodie Stephenson

Brodie Stephenson is a Griffith University honors graduate. The director and sole creator of FIFTY-TWO’s story and visuals, Stephenson holds a high appreciation for stop-motion and practical visual effects in film. Realizing the growing impracticality of these techniques as compared to computer-generated effects, he aims to implement hybrid digital solutions that maintain the desired aesthetic.
