When Pius wakes up next to his date, Mia, on a picnic blanket in a forest, he can’t remember where he parked his car. Unbeknownst to both, they are inside a simulation run by a dating app. Searching for the car is a test to determine their compatibility. Only if all goes well will they be allowed to meet for real — but before it comes to that, Pius and Mia start to make their own rules.

Meet the director


Tony Leyva

Tony Leyva was born in Bautzen in 1991 and raised in Mengen in southern Germany. At age 16, he worked as a projectionist at the local cinema and deepened his love of film. After graduating from a technical university, he spent a year working and traveling in Australia, then two years working in different positions on film and television productions back in Germany. Since 2015, he has been studying film directing at HFF Munich.
