INVENTION OF TRUST
Young high school teacher Michael Gewa receives a mysterious message. A company called "b.good" has bought his internet and mobile phone data, giving him a rating based on his digital footprint, his personal and professional qualifications, and his relationship history. He refuses their offer to keep this info confidential for a small fee, and what follows is a wildfire: Gewa has to struggle to retain and regain the respect and confidence of his friends, colleagues and students.

Meet the director
Alex Schaad
Alex Schaad was born in Kazakhstan and came to Germany when he was three. He grew up in Sigmaringen and worked for the stage, TV and film as a freelancer for three years after high school. He enrolled at Munich film school HFF. His second film INVENTION OF TRUST won the Student Oscar 2016, writing the schript with his brother Dimitri.
