SON OF WIND

Panpan is 10 years old. He and his grandfather spend the day 20 minutes from the center of Beijing, growing their own organic food on a small piece of land. Panpan’s father is away, working in France. He calls them and leaves lengthy phone messages. On this spring day, the wind blows, the sun shines, and Panpan plays alone in the tall grass.
