Logline

WHITE CARNATIONS

Whatever his mom tries to do – her son succeeds in ruining everything. In the morning, he refuses to dress. In the evening, he refuses to undress. When they apply to a new school, he starts a brawl with another kid within minutes. Meanwhile, his mother is occupied with work. She attempts one last, desperate negotiation with the school’s principal.

Meet the director

WHITE CARNATIONS

Wan Xin Tang

Tang Wan Xin was born in Singapore in 1993. She studied business for a while, and then took off on a trip through South-East-Asia. Her experiences on the road inspired her to become a filmmaker. Majoring in directing and minoring in screenwriting, Tang Wan Xin recently graduated from The Puttnam School of Film at Lasalle College of the Arts.
