The world as we know it is coming to an end. On a secret military base on the Polish coast, scientists are conducting a strange experiment, transforming repeat offenders into animals whose species are endangered. Teenage Janek assists his mother, a veterinarian who decides when the animals can be released into the wild to restore their species. When Janek finds himself attracted to a young female captive named “U”, he decides to free her, believing they could have a future together. If only it weren’t the first summer of the end of the world.
