SEARCHING FOR WIVES
Patha doesn't just want his future bride to be beautiful, but have a heart too. And take care of his parents, his family, his money, everything. Since family tradition stipulates he should marry at an uneven age, Patha has to find a bride by his 32nd birthday. Since his parents want to choose the bride, Patha has to send a picture of her to their home village. A single photo that must be taken in a professional photographer's studio. Since women are equally demanding nowadays, finding a suitable partner is almost impossible. And what about love, anyway?

Meet the director
Zuki Tobgye
Zuki Juno Tobgye was born in New Delhi, India on October 6, 1994. She is a Bhutanese citizen who grew up in Westchester, New York for most of her childhood and has studied abroad in international boarding schools in India. In 2016, she graduated with first-class honours from the Puttnam School of Film, with documentary and screenwriting as her specialisation.
