Fifteen is a magical age. While Kay’s friends ride their motocross bikes and talk about sex, Kay is enchanted by Melody, who’s sailed into his life on a houseboat. As their friendship flourishes, however, Kay and Melody must deal with their differing expectations of it.

Zara Dwinger

Zara Dwinger was born and raised in Amsterdam. After studying anthropology, she attended the Netherlands Film Academy, where she co-directed the feature film IK GELOOF DAT IK GELUKKIG BEN (2015) and directed the short coming-of-age films LIV (2016) and SIRENE (2017). The latter was selected for the international competition at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and received several prizes at others.
