SIMON CRIES

Meet the director
Sergio Guataquira Sarmiento
Sergio Guataquira Sarmiento was born in Bogotá in 1987. He left Colombia at the age of 19 to study fine arts in France and then film directing in Belgium. He spent three years at the school of fine arts in Poitiers. Later he continued his education at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion. He’s currently completing his master’s degree with his graduation film SIMON CRIES.
