Meet the director
Rosa Friedrich
Rosa Friedrich, born in East Berlin in 1989, studied philosophy and psychology before enrolling at the Film Academy Vienna to study directing. She explores a playful and exotic approach to filmmaking. Her bachelor’s film “Potted Palm Trees” was invited to the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was also nominated for the First Steps Award.
