INSIDE ME
A young woman has an unplanned pregnancy and makes a conscious decision — accompanied by mixed feelings — to have an abortion. Those around her show a lack of understanding and are quick to criticize her decision. This very personal story is given a minimalist and sensitive portrayal.

Meet the director
Maria Trigo Teixeira
Maria Trigo Teixeira was born in Lisbon. After finishing her bachelor’s degree in communication design in Porto, she moved to Germany and started working as a graphic designer and illustrator. She is one of the curators of the monthly short film festival Shortcutz Berlin. In 2014 she started her animation studies at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. INSIDE ME is her debut and graduation film.
