FLOOD
In a hot and humid summer in Haifa, 17-year-old Osher takes her mother to a shelter for battered women. When she returns home, she has to face a new reality. Her older brother, Avi, is torn between his sister and their violent father. Each room that Osher passes through reveals another side of her personality. By the end of the day, she will have to choose between her love for her father and her own freedom.

Meet the director

Oshri Zeituni
Oshri Zeituni was born in Tel Aviv in 1990. She is studying directing at the Minshar School of Art in Tel Aviv. Her documentary short SWIMMING AGAINST THE CURRENT (2007) won the Haifa Mayor Prize for best film. AFTER HE LOVED (2017) was shown at festivals in New Jersey and Cyprus. FLOOD (2018) had its premiere at the Haifa Film Festival.
