It's worth coming early: Starting at 7 p.m., we look forward to getting to know each other at a relaxed get-together with a champagne reception and an exchange with our audience. Members of the Filmschoolfest team will also give all interested parties an insight into the current program with 40 short films from all over the world and let the anticipation for the "Festival of Future Storytellers" rise.

In addition to a few surprises, our brand-new Filmschoolfest mash-up trailer, which provides insights into the whole range of this year's program, will also celebrate its big cinema premiere on this evening.

We would like to thank the Freundeskreis FILMFEST MÜNCHEN e. V. for organizing the event. They will once again donate the audience award of 1,500 € for the upcoming Filmschoolfest edition.

The 42nd FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH will take place from November 12 to 18, 2023 at the University of Television and Film (HFF) Munich. The film program and the surrounding events will be announced on October 25.
