40 years of FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH means 40 great years of meeting young international filmmakers. But besides being a good time to reminisce, celebrating a milestone should always be an occasion to look ahead. And what better way to do that than by watching brand-new films? As part of the Opening Ceremony, when festival director Diana Iljine will kick off the week-long festival, three short films by students of the host institution, the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF), will be screened: AS ARMAS A MEU ADUFE by Markus Schindler, SORT OF GROWN UP by Marlene Molitor, and NICHT ZU NAH by Luis Sütter.
