USUAL, THE

Gerda Beckert, a cheerful old lady, suffers from early-stage dementia. She lives an independent life, but recently, her moments of forgetfulness seem to be increasing. Using charm and humor, she is able to downplay tricky situations in which her memory loss could be problematic. But her mental decline is inevitable.
