COSMIC STATION

At over 11,000 feet above sea level, on Mt. Aragaz in Armenia: the remains of an enormous project of the former Soviet Union to study cosmic rays, which, as they travel release countless particles: messages from outer space. Armenia today has other problems. Several stalwart Armenian scientists, nevertheless, are persevering and hoping for the discovery of new galaxies.
