Honey on Wounds

During the Kosovo War thousands of Albanian women were tortured and forced to witness the execution of their husbands by Serbian troops. According to local tradition, these war widows are forbidden to remarry, work or lead independent lives outside of their homes. They are now fighting depression and poverty. In a small village of widows, counsellors are trying to convince the women that the healing journey can start right in their garden. All they need is a wooden box and a queen bee.
