During the first wave of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, Marlena loses her job at the theater. Isolated in her apartment, she wonders what the quickest and easiest way is to get money. Why not sell used underpants on the Internet? She and a friend take a few scantily clad photos of herself and post them to an online sex platform. And already she’s on her way to making money and having some fun, too, right?

Meet the director
Marlena Martikainen
Marlena Martikainen studies film at the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and works part-time at a theater. Her career has included stints as a French translator, a caregiver for the elderly, and a burrito vendor. In recent years, Marlena has been working on a few short films and has developed a concept for a miniseries.
