FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH is back with a birthday party. We are 40 years old - and thanks to all the film students from all over the world, we have remained really young and always up to date with the latest (film) trends. Here you can follow what's going on at the 2021 festival.

FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH 2021 is open! With a few memories from the 40-year history of the festival and a joyful look to the future, students, visitors and the festival team start into an exciting week.

11/15/2021

The FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH starts the day with the HFF Brunch. At the first screenings of the programs, the students present their short films and get to know each other better at Speed Dating.

11/16/2021

Today, visitors and guests got to talk. The Respect Day was about new alliances and the filmmakers presented their short films in two programs.

11/17/2021

Films, films, films and one or two refreshments in between. On the fourth day of the festival, we talk about the future of film education and about programs 5 and 6.

11/18/2021

Another full day of programming. At the workshop "Let's Talk about Digital Production" and the talk "Challenges for Young International Producers," filmmakers will talk about the future of the medium. Of course, films will also be shown today.
