Wajda School (WAJDA) – Poland
The Wajda School in Warsaw was founded in 2002 by two luminaries of Polish film: Andrzej Wajda and Wojciech Marczewski. The school aims to match talented young film students with experienced filmmakers in order to facilitate their entry into the film business. Since the school’s establishment, numerous students have been trained and hundreds of films have been made, which have been well received by critics as well as at national and international festivals. Training at the school focuses primarily on international co-productions, which are realized via its own production studio Wajda Studio, founded in 2011.
