Every tenant’s worst nightmare becomes reality for a senior citizen couple in Munich when their new landlady hands them a notice to vacate their apartment. Finding a new place to live is virtually impossible. When a bailiff arrives at their door and threatens to evict them, they find themselves robbed not only of their apartment, but also of their dignity. This film was honored with the 2022 Student Academy Award.

Meet the director
Welf Reinhart
Welf Reinhart was born in Würzburg in 1995. He’s been studying feature-film directing, first in Kassel and since 2017 at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). His short film ANGST VOR was shown on HR television and received the German Generations Film Award as well as the Youth Culture Award. Since 2018, he has held a scholarship of the Begabtenförderungswerke.
