WE KNEW HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY WERE, THESE ISLANDS

In a desert at night in the middle of nowhere, a man buries people he’s never met and watches over their graves. By dim lamplight, he shows the camera the personal effects of the deceased. These objects reflect the emotional scars and the stories of people who were searching for a better life but found death instead.

  • Duration: 20 min.
