Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU, Czech Republic)

Founded in 1947, FAMU is one of the oldest film schools in Europe. In the early 1960s, it was the birthplace of what was known as the Czech New Wave, from which two Academy Award winners emerged: Jiří Menzel and Miloš Forman. According to The Hollywood Reporter, FAMU is one of the world’s top 15 film schools. In 2019, the film DAUGHTER received the Student Academy Award for best foreign language animated film.
