The Nagelschneider Foundation was established in 2000 by Hildegard Nagelschneider as a public foundation under civil law in Munich to promote and research the renewable energies of sun, biomass, wind, water and geothermal energy and thus create a sustainable and environmentally friendly system of energy supply. As part of the FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH, the Nagelschneider Foundation has been presenting the Climate Clips Award since 2008 for the best film dealing with the topics of climate and renewable energies.
