Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin
Founded in 1966, the dffb offers training for artistic occupations in the areas of film and television. Each year twelve candidates are accepted to the Faculty of Directing. Six applicants at a time are accepted to the Faculties of Cinematography and Production. A Screenwriting Academy was added in 1997. The TV-Producer-Program was launched in March, 1999. In 2002, the dffb established the Academy of Converging Media in close collaboration with the Master School of Screenwriting and Project Scope.
