What would be the teaser text for your film THE HONGKONGERS?
With the Hong Kong protests in the background, a reluctant grandson accompanies his grandfather to China to protect their ancestral lands from being reclaimed.
Where does the inspiration for your film come from?
I was inspired by the personal experiences of my granduncle, and the social movements in Hong Kong in the recent years.
Which three people from film and television would you like to spend an evening with? Why? And what are you doing?
Mr. Anthony Chen, Mr. Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit and Ms. Ann Hui. Because their films have inspired me a lot. I'd like to be their assistant in their workshop with actors and actresses, as I could learn a lot from them.
What's your favorite film quote?

AN AUTUMN AFTERNOON
What was your favorite film festival experience so far?
I attended a film festival in Bosnia a few years ago, I had a great time with young European filmmakers.

A historical city with heritage and a unique culture.
