MR: What keeps the British at the other end of the world between penguins and minefields?

ES: 3.000 people are living at the end of the world and stay happy.

Which film was the first to deeply impress you?

MR: "The Lion King"

A new TV series about studying film needs a title – which would you choose?

MR: "Unemployment or Art - The Series"


Which actor or actress would you love to work with and why?

ES: I have no idea, because I usually look for an actor or actress for one specific role and if I find one, that matches the screenplay, I'm happy.

MR: Bruno Ganz - excellent reputation and if there is no suitable feature film project in the making, he is still good to use as an off-speaker in a documentary film.

If your film was an animal, what animal would it be?

MR: Penguin  

What would you be if you weren’t a filmmaker?

MR: Journalist

ES: I would like to be a writer. I need to tell stories.

Is this your first visit to Munich? What do you expect from the city and the festival?

ES: I have been living in Munich for three years now and know, that it is a really hearty festival and I'm glad, that I can visit this year.
