Meet the Filmmakers: 4,95

Interview with director Timo Bénit

Meet the Filmmakers: 4,95

Director Timo Bénit

Write a one-sentence teaser text for your film 4,95.

I don't like hairdressers and they don't like me ...

Which film was the first to deeply impress you?

"Jurassic Park". I couldn't ever watch the end because it's too hard: They are flying away from the island and the adventure is over. This can not be.

A new TV series about studying film needs a title – which would you choose?

"Michael, more blame please."

Which actor or actress would you love to work with and why?

Sam Neill, because he is Alan Grant.

 Scene from 4,95

If your film was an animal, what animal would it be?

A tiger with big eyes

What do your grandparents think you do as a job?

They don't think I have a job. What I am doing is a hobby for them.

What would you be if you weren’t a filmmaker?

I would be an archeologist. Scavenging and looking at old objects and imagining their stories.

Is this your first visit to Munich? What do you expect from the city and the festival?

It's not my first visit to Munich. I expect the city to be still very clean and the festival to be very well organized.
