Name, logo, slogan and poster- there are a lot of changes concerning this year's International Festival of Filmschools.
There will be a bigger focus on the international short name FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH in 2014. While the FILMFEST MÜNCHEN in summer uses sunglasses as recurring stylistic theme, the symbol of binoculars is established for the student filmfestival this year. The symbol stands for discovering and can be found as icon in the new logo.
Yellow is used as the main color for the design again. Just like in the last years, the look of poster and postcard is reduced in color and of rough appearance. The design seems to be improvised and not perfect - characteristics people like to associate with student films. Nevertheless great things can be expected by this year's film selection - just as the new claim suggests: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
