Meet this year's jury president on Friday, November 19 at 11 am. Admission free.

A director who wanders between two worlds: the country he was born in, Geogia, and the country he lives in, Germany. This year's jury president Dito Tsintsadze put it this way: he makes "Georgian films in German". And very successfully. He has won numerous international awards, among others at the Locarno and San Sebastian film festivals.

"Even very tragic stories can be told with a certain lightness", he adds, "Making the audience laugh in sad movies is the outstanding characteristic of Georgian directors."

Using excerpts from his films LOST KILLERS and GUN-SHY, he will be talking with the public about the challenges of filmmaking.
