Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts is comprised of the Sodaro-Pankey Undergraduate School of Media Arts and the Conservatory of Motion Pictures, home to the graduate programs. With some 1,500 students studying film production (directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design) creative producing, screenwriting, digital arts, broadcast journalism, television, documentary filmmaking, film studies, public relations, and advertising, Dodge College represents a vibrant community of storytellers and scholars dedicated to harnessing the power of the media. Dodge College students have been featured in huge festivals like Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca and Telluride, as well as prestigious local festivals such as Palm Springs, LA International Short Film Festival, and Santa Barbara. Internationally our students' films have been shown at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools (Germany) Clermont-Ferrand (France), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Short Shorts (Tokyo).
