The School of Arts, Design and Architecture was founded in 1871 as a vocational school. It has grown into one of the most international schools in Finland. The international school is the largest in its field in the Nordic countries and one of the most respected in the world. The school started operating in its present form in 2012. Key areas of research are design, digital media, audiovisual representation, art, visual culture, architecture and emerging technologies, and urban planning and design. Our campuses are located in Helsinki, Espoo and Pori.
