Respekt!-Tag: Panel – Diversity in the Film Industry
Many initiatives and projects in the arts are currently working with the term “diversity”. But the notion of what diversity really means and how it can be implemented differs greatly. How can we achieve equality in front of and behind the camera while maintaining creative autonomy?
To address this, a panel discussion titled “Diversity in the Film Industry: The time is now” will be held at the HFF as part of the “Day of Respect”. Participants: Maria Köpf (Deutsche Filmakademie), Nicole Ackermann (WIFT International), Karin Heisecke (MaLisa Foundation), Marie Mouroum (actress/stuntwoman in BLACK PANTHER and the latest James Bond film, NO TIME TO DIE). Professor Tac Romey and Elena Diesbach are the hosts of the panel.
