DRAMATURGY & EDITING – FROM SCRIPT TO FINAL CUT

Once not a concept within film production, editing has evolved more and more into a fundamental tool that is used for every single piece of film in the last decades. After all the editing process greatly impacts the way we perceive a film – and has to be thought of from script to final cut - including of course the score. Susanne Hermanski (Süddeutsche Zeitung) will get into a discussion with writer/director Ildiko Enyedi about the importance of editing in her movies (MY 20TH CENTURY, ON BODY AND SOUL, STORY OF MY WIFE) together with film editor and Professor Chair Montage at HFF München, Beatrice Babin. The masterclass is a collaboration with the film magazine REVÜ.
