Hannah and Erich, a couple in their early sixties, could be leading a happy and comfortable life - if Hannah hadn't been disgnosed with Alzheimer's. Erich, too, has to come to terms with this situation... until one day an unexpected revelation puts his love to the test. DARK RED won the Best Short Award at the 2008 Max Ophüls film festival for emerging German directors in Saarbrücken.
