The 1970´s in Western Finland: Elvis dies, my parents divorce and set theory is introduced in school math. Made entirely with archive material, ALWAYS DECENT is an experimental, autobiographical documentary about a child’s fear of being different, shame, guilt and longing. The film dips into the logic and dimensions of a child’s thinking by means of humour and associative visual narrative.
