FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
Wojtek is ashamed of his body. And of his mother. So far, that’s normal for a twelve-year-old. His mother runs an antiquated fruit and vegetable store, which Wojtek’s classmates don’t exactly consider the epitome of coolness. One day, in a combination of frustration and adolescent rebellion, Wojtek takes things too far.

Meet the director
Maciej Jankowski
Maciej Jankowski, born in Warsaw in 1991, holds a degree in cultural studies from the University of Warsaw’s Institute of Polish Culture. He is currently a fifth-year student of film and television directing at the film school in Łódź, Poland. Maciej’s short fiction and documentary films have been screened at the DOKer International Documentary Film Festival in Moscow, the PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival, the Kraków Film Festival, the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in Wrocław and the Koszalin Festival of Film Debuts.
