BLIESCHOW
Vast plains and colorful scenery are Tom’s impressions of summer on his grandfather’s farm in the community of Blieschow on an island in the Baltic Sea. Tom feels overwhelmed by the exuberance of nature and sees himself as being in constant competition with his cousin Matthias, who seems to be better at everything. Envy can be sensed in every nuance of the landscape and within Tom, who does everything possible to be recognized and loved.
