Meet the director
Mo Harawe
Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, Mo Harawe has lived in Austria since 2009. He is currently studying visual communication and film at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. His short films have been screened and honored at various international film festivals. In 2021 he received the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Award for the screenplay of LIFE ON THE HORN. WILL MY PARENTS COME TO SEE ME celebrated its world premiere at the Berlinale in 2022.
