TEXT ME WHEN YOU GET HOME
“Text me when you get home” has been synonymous with the apprehension many women feel about going home alone at night, particularly since a post on Instagram went viral a few years ago. The title of this film is meant to be understood as a catchphrase for the various forms of harassment and abuse that women are subjected to day in and day out. Whether they’re in the office, on a train platform, or in a club, it’s hard for women to feel safe. This film explores this permanent sense of anxiety through calm and graceful choreographed dance movements.
- Duration: 11 min.
