ONE ON ONE
Enrico and Laurin are best friends. They play soccer, eat kebabs, stare at their cell phones and talk about their dreams and anxieties — as young people do — but they communicate in sign language. They are students at a boarding school for the deaf and hearing-impaired. Enrico dreams of a more inclusive society in which deaf people also play on the soccer team. Laurin, on the other hand, wonders how he will cope when he someday gets married and his deaf and hearing friends meet each other. This documentary gives insight into a world that is usually hidden to people who can hear.
