THIS WILL NOT BE A FESTIVAL FILM
Director Julia Orlik tells her own story as a film school student who, for years, never took time off. At her parents’ house, she preferred to work on her films in the garage instead of spending time with her family. It never felt like she was at home. Then there were the countless film festivals she traveled to. With her graduation film, she wants everything to be different. She already has a brilliant idea as well: a film about and with her family that won’t be screened at a single festival.

Meet the director
Julia Orlik
Julia Orlik, born in Katowice in 1996, graduated from the Łódź Film School, having specialized in animated film and special effects. She currently resides in Krupski Młyn, where all her time-lapse films were made in the family garage. In addition to animation, she is also interested in bloody special effects, film make-up, and conducting film workshops with children and teenagers.
