THE OTHER END OF THE STREET
Nine-year-old Ábel is systematically bullied and even physically attacked at school by his classmate, Bence — or so Ábel claims. Reason enough for his father to confront Bence and his parents and thus put an end to the bullying. The underlying tension, which is also one between social classes, rises steadily. As the truth gradually comes to light and the situation escalates, Ábel and his father face a moral dilemma.

Meet the director
Kálmán Nagy
Kálmán Nagy, born in 1992, comes from a small town in Hungary. Since 2012, he has lived in Vienna, where he enrolled at the Film Academy Vienna in 2016. He graduated in 2021 as a member of Michael Haneke’s directing class. His award-winning short film OLYAN DOLGOK – THINGS LIKE was screened at various international film festivals, including the Palm Springs International Shortfest and the HollyShorts Film Festival.
