ENSAV (France)

École Supérieure d’Audiovisuel

ENSAV (École Supérieure d’Audiovisuel) is, along with La Fémis and Louis Lumière, one of the three state-funded film schools in France. It was founded in 1987 as a part of Université de Toulouse-Le Mirail, now known as Université Toulouse-Jean Jaurès. Since 2003, ENSAV has been located in the heart of the historical town center of Toulouse, opposite the Cinémathèque, the second-largest film library in France. ENSAV concerns itself with journalism, radio, television, and film. Foreign students may apply at any level of the curriculum, which is a way of establishing international exchanges with students from all over the world.
