The Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema is the only public film school in Portugal designed to train professionals at the highest technical and artistic levels: a three-year Master degree in Cinematography, Sound, Editing, Production, Screenwriting and Directing, since 2007 in conformity with the Bologna process.
Founded in 1972/73 at the National Conservatory, it was integrated into the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon in 1985, and recently has been located in a new building in Amadora. It’s a full member of CILECT - Centre International de Liaison des Écoles de Cinéma et de Télévision. |
