Kunsthochschule Kassel
The School of Arts and Design in Kassel, founded in 1777, unites the departments of art, product design, visual communication and art history. The main fields of study are film directing, screenwriting, production design, cinematography, film editing, production. Students decide on the genres they wish to be trained in: feature films, documentaries, experimental and animated films.
Our students' films have won numerous international awards. In 1990, the Lauenstein brothers were awarded an Oscar for their animated short film BALANCE and in 1997 Thomas Stellmach and Tyron Montgomery were awarded an Oscar for their production QUEST. |
