| Traditionally, the jury president at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools holds a Masterclass at the festival. This year, director Hans Steinbichler (Winter Journey, Germany ‘09) will talk about ‘Failure’. “I don’t want to focus on glamour and success in the film industry, I want to talk about failure”, Steinbichler said. “Failing is an aspect of our profession. Maybe it’s actually a prerequisite to making really good films.” Hans Steinbichler is currently working on his next theatrical feature, “Das Blaue von Himmel” starring Hannelore Elsner and Juliane Köhler. Principal photography commences in February of 2010. On Saturday, November 21, Bavarian Television will be broadcasting four Steinbichler films, including his latest documentary, “Die halbe Wahrheit”.
